The Life Cycle of a Clover Imaging Remanufactured Printer Cartridge
Clover Imaging’s circular process reuses an empty printer cartridge – extending the life of a “single-use” plastic, conserving natural resources & keeping waste out of landfills.
Clover’s proprietary Closed-Loop Environmental Process ensures that every component of the empty cartridges collected is either remanufactured or responsibly recycled.
Empty cartridges that Clover cannot remanufacture, due to not meeting quality standards, are responsibly recycled. Clover evaluates every empty cartridge that is received - first for refurbishment and secondarily for material recovery through recycling.
A remanufacturable cartridge is disassembled and as many components as possible are reused. Cartridges that are non-remanufacturable are disassembled, sorted into material types and recycled. If a plastic cartridge cannot be reused it is ground down and the plastic regrind is used in various injection molding processes.
